Today was my first day at the OSU Migrant Leadership Institute, I'm here because i want to learn how to be a leader so far its been pretty great well till i got my I-pod taken away but o well it don't matter. After this program i expect to be a better leader. Some of the student staff told us there stories of how it is here studing at OSU and after all the stories and stuff it encouraged me to try harder in school and not let money get in the way of my education, and after high school i wanna go straight to collage. Iv met so many new people and most of us have alot of things in common, out of all the kids in this institute the ones i think i have the most things in common with are Javier, and Mariana we listen to the same kind of music and artistes i think by the end of this institute i'm going to be able to be more social and its going to be easier for me to meet new people!

The reason you are here at the OMLI is because you already have what it takes to be that leader you hope to become. Take this opportunity to engage in those positive activities that will challenging you and help you learn and grow.
Definitely do not let the price of college discourage you from achieving what is rightfully yours. Ask us as much as you can about how you too can join us at OSU or at another 4-year institution.
